United Bank for Africa Introduces Dual Currency Debit Card

United Bank of Africa announced today that they are going to issue a dual currency debit card. The card is going to work in “both Naira and in US dollars at domestic and international locations”. Read the whole article here .
“This is the best thing that has happened to customers in recent times as they do not need to carry multiple cards for different purposes especially when they travel out of the country arises”, Executive Director, Global Products and Segment Banking, Mrs. Angela Nwabuoku was quoted to have said.
This is actually pretty cool if you think about it. You don’t have to worry about changing currencies when you travel anymore. Just bring the card with you everywhere you go. AND it’s actually a Visa card, so you get all the Visa protection as well!
