Obopay Nominated for SPIFFY Award

The Service Provider Forum of Telecom Council of Silicon Valley has nominated Obopay for an award, second year in a row.

Last year, Obopay won a SPIFFY  “Zephyr Award” for Best Mobile Opportunity.  Recently, the council reviewed about 96 telecom companies and included Obopay in the bunch.  The criteria for a second nomination includes young companies that have “the ideas, relevance and traction that most appeal to communication service providers from around the globe.”

This year, Obopay was nominated under the “Prodigy Award for the Most successful SPiF Alumni,” noted for growth, market success or exit.

The SPIFFY awards ceremony will take place at Le Petite Trianon Theatre on February 26 in San José.
