“Breast cancer touches the lives of everyone – whether it is a friend, family member or even a co-worker,” said Cindy Stowe, United States Coordinator, Convoy for a Cure – USA. “In light of October being National Breast Cancer awareness month, we’re thrilled to organize the first ever Convoy for a Cure – USA event, aimed at driving out breast cancer – one truck at a time!”

Convoy of a Cure – USA expects about 200 trucks, which includes 300 people, to participate, with drivers traveling to the event from across North America. The event has a fundraising target of $50,000, and will also feature musical entertainment, raffles, health screenings and lunch.

Obopay also enables people to send and receive money from anywhere so it is a good fit for Convoy for a Cure whose members don’t always have easy access to a PC while driving around the country.
